Al Case (SOS) came directly from his spaceship, which was built on his planet K-Pax. He was originally in the adult entertainment business before a freak accident and a good insurance policy led him to the BVB.

He plays tambourine in a garage band in a Scarborough and is an exceptional Zamboni driver during the off season. He loves Chocolate ice cream in a sugar cone, and his favorite ball player is John Rocker. He sometimes hides in bushes.

His favorite saying is "all the best, with love boys"

Clarke, Sean
3B, CF, P

Sean comes to us from Fort Worth, Texas. Along with his Southern draw, he brings a solid baseball background, and his athletic physique provides that "Brute" force the Giants will lean on in the 2008 campaign.

He is a perennial all-star, and is his demeanor provides a spark on and off the field. During the offseason, he is an avid photographer, and has worked on contracts for the National Geographic, Country Living and OWL in recent years. He has explored all corners of the world with his photography and his recent trip to Antarctica to film "March of the Penguins II" was over the top.

He enjoys gardening, the Karaoke bar and long walks in the rain. He resides on a farm during the offseason, and has a vintage pink pinto. His favorite song is Dancing Queen, by ABBA and his favorite colour is Maroon. In Antarctica he has a snowflake collection.

Collins, Scott
1B, P

Scottie drinks anything with alcohol and is an avid Calgary Flames fan, which is evident by his red and gold home within his home. Scott enjoys spending his down time watching classic re-runs of the Flames in their hay days when Lenny McDonald patrolled the frozen surface.

Scott is best known for his 2 day 40 hour weekend work schedule, since the rest of the week is spent counting his toes.

Scott is always the last one to leave the post game tailgate, usually hours after everyone else has been home for hours.

Did we mention that he drinks anything with alcohol!

Dela Rosa, Billy

Billy De La Rosa, pitcher for the Giants, seeks his fame and fortune during the offseason as a commodities trader on the NYSE. He is a hopeless romantic and has been linked with many High-profiled actresses in Hollywood. When travelling on business, or pleasure, he always requests a box of candy to be placed on the bed with an "I love you" message, prior to his arrival. Just incase he happens to meet someone. His teammates refer to him as the "Smooth Operator". His fancy cars and lavish lifestyle have glamoured him to be in America's top Sexy males. He is an avid fan of Jazz and Blues and loves travelling.

Froese, Matt
3B, SS, P

After spending a prolific career in the States at Tier 1 through 3 colleges he came back to the Great White North to try and find himself. Although studying fluvial-geomorphology and astrophysics at Harvard, and receiving his post-doctorate in Crypto Graphical Engineering he landed a high paying stress free job as a Banking Investor in the heart of the T-DOT.

Athleticism runs in the family as his older brother once played alongside the Point with Bryan Fogerty on the NF Thunder. Matt was a tenth round draft choice for the Canucks, back in the early nineties.

His best friends include Jack and Johnnie, and he loves painting sheep, eating wings and drinking beer.

Gibbons, Wayne
RF, P

Newly acquired Gibs is a quality product on the field, a true gamer on the Giants roster.

When he is not terrorizing opposing pitchers from the batters box, he enjoys golfing, fishing, and beer drinking as summer fun.

Gionas, Mike
2B, P

Mike used to throw 99 MPH before 3 Tommy John elbow ligament-replacement surgeries took their toll

He began baseball career in high school at Oakwood Collegiate in Toronto. He then played 4 seasons in the Metro League and later restarted his baseball career in 2006 when his students dared him to attend a pro-baseball tryout held by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, where he was discovered by a BVB scout in attendance.

Mike lives in Bolton, and has 2 sons, Chris 18, and Matthew 11.

Goulbourne, Ottis
2B, SS, CF

Made his BVB debut in 2003 with the BVB Red Sox, The following season played with the Indians who in 2008 became the BVB Giants. In his second season with the Indians, he was elected coach by the team and G.M Peter Osgood.

In his first season as Head Coach the Indians improved their record by 6 wins. He led the team to a total of 6 wins in 2006 while facing a lot of clubhouse adversity. Despite the turmoil, the Indians managed to make it to the second round of the playoffs before losing to the eventual Legend Champion Cardinals. 2007 proved to be a rebuilding type season with 9 new faces to incorporate into the fold. Despite the changes, the Indians managed to have a good showing before losing their first round series to the X-Men.

He looks to take the newest rendition, the BVB Giants to a successful campaign in 2008!

Gray, Shane
C, RF

Shane joined the Team in 2007 after playing many years of Fastball.

He still lives at home with mom but is hoping to get his own apartment in the next 7.34 years.

He enjoys comic books and toy action figures.

Johnson, Neil
LF, CF RF, 3B

Neil has played in this league for a number of years. He is a five tool athlete and has made a name within the community. He speaks to underprivileged kids on what his life lessons have taught him during his tenure in the "BIGS" and the roads that brought him here. He is a captain on, and off, the field for his team and with all the new additions he has provided warmth, love and caring to all new recruits.

He has a shady past, and with new revelations coming out of Chicago he has some explaining to do to the media frenzy that follows the Giants everywhere. He is a diving instructor during the off season at a local high school and has his own arcade company.

He loves his Harley and collect coca-cola paraphernalia and knickknacks at his chalet in Kingston, Jamaica. He was an original member of the Sugar Hill Gang, before touring with the Pointer Sisters and Godley and Creme during the 80's. You can hear his background voice in their top 10 song "Cry".

McDougall, Chris
C, 2B

A stellar performer behind the plate, Chris is heralded by his piers as the grandfather of the kitchen. Hence the term, behind the dish.

During his early years he caught for the likes of Sandy Koufax, Satchel Paige and Babe Ruth. When asked about his number, 16, he says it's his IQ.

He loves to travel, spend time with his family and drink beer. He likes fishing, he sports the goatee to hide the scares from his prison time and he has numerous tattoos. He has also been known to hide in bushes.

Osgood, Peter
1B, RF

Peter Osgood, the Godfather, is an original member of the Giants and founding father of the butterfly emporium in Burlington, Ontario. He loves travelling and riding his Harley. He has a caring family and a great sister. He collects historical documents and World War 2 paraphenilia. During the offseason he fishes and hunts and becomes nomadic. He is a hugable guy, and laughs quietly to himself, which is awkward to others. He has a nice disposition and many believe that his love for the game is what keeps him satisfied. He does not like music, or reading.

Ryan, Dave
LF, 1B, P

Dave Ryan, unquestionably the most unique player on the Giants, stands 5'10 and 225. He lives in the SF Bay area, and always welcomes the rush of fans seeking his autograph. He loves reading, as his favorite authors include Kurt Vonnegut, Danielle Steele and DC Comics. He is eccentric and takes public transportation. During the offseason he works with Marine Biologists Dul Phyn and Hoct Tapus at the San Francisco Zoo. He collects romance movies and has a pet hamster named Buster. He Lives alone.

Dave has a Wife, two daughters (9 & 4) and a 16 year old cat.

In his spare time, which seems to be most of the time, he enjoys sports and beer. The reason why he is the Giants Official Tailgate Man! Thanks for handling the empties buddy!
